Who we are

CSQS Ltd (trading as “Coast Is Clear”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England & Wales (no. 12837363), and this policy applies to coastisclear.co.uk and to the personal data we handle when quoting for and carrying out exterior cleaning and drainage clearance work.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quote or book a job we collect your name, contact details, the property address, and the information you send us about the job (photos of the house, gutters, roof, drive or drains). We use it to prepare your quote, plan and carry out the work, and keep proper business records. The lawful basis is performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before one), and legitimate interest in running our business.

We do not buy marketing lists and we do not sell or share your data for marketing. We'll only contact you about your own enquiry, booking, or — if you've asked for one — your next scheduled visit.

Photos

Photos you send us are used to prepare your quote and plan the job. Before-and-after photos we take of the work are shared with you and kept with the job record as evidence of completion. We don't publish photos of your property without asking you first.

How long we keep data

Quotes and correspondence for jobs that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work (including job photos) are kept for 6 years, in line with our legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

You have the usual rights under UK GDPR: access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of them, email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Website data

The website itself sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) processes visitor IP addresses transiently for security and performance; see our Cookie Policy for detail.
