Gutter Cleaning in Horsham
Horsham is about 30 minutes north of Worthing on the A24 — and gutters are what bring us most often. Roof cleaning, drains and pressure washing ride along on the same visit.
Horsham swaps our usual coastal problem for a leafier one: trees. The town's Victorian villas and Edwardian streets sit under some of the best tree cover in Sussex, which is lovely in July and relentless in November — gutters here fill with leaf-fall faster than anywhere on the coast, and shaded north slopes grow moss without any help from sea air. An autumn gutter clean isn't optional in RH12; it's the calendar.
The housing range is wide: period homes around the Causeway and Horsham Park with original gutters worth treating gently, big family houses in Roffey and Southwater with long runs and conservatories below (we sheet them and say so in the quote), and the new estates at Broadbridge Heath hitting their first proper maintenance cycle — developer gutters, first-ever clean, quick and cheap to keep that way.
We run Horsham as a scheduled patch — multiple jobs per visit day keeps prices keen despite the A24 miles, and repeat spring/autumn customers get first pick of those days. Drives and patios here green up from shade rather than salt; the pressure-washing results are just as dramatic.

Questions people ask us
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Worthing and work the coastal strip from Chichester to Brighton — Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Lancing, Sompting, Shoreham-by-Sea — and inland across West Sussex: Arundel, Steyning, Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead, plus the villages between.
How do quotes work?
Send a photo of the house or the problem plus your postcode, and you'll get a fixed written quote — usually the same day. The price doesn't change unless the job does. No obligation, and no doorstep pricing.
How do I know the work was actually done?
Every job ends with before-and-after photos sent to your phone. Most of what we clean is above your sightline — you should never have to take a ladder's word for it.
Are you insured?
Yes. Coast Is Clear is operated by CSQS Ltd, an established Worthing company, and insurance documentation is available with every quote.
What happens if it rains on my booking?
Light rain rarely stops gutter or drain work — sometimes it helps us flow-test. Wind is what cancels ladder work, and heavy rain makes roof and pressure washing pointless. If the forecast kills your slot we rebook early and you lose nothing.
Do I need to be home?
Usually not — most work is outside. We confirm everything in writing beforehand and the photos close the loop. If access needs unlocking (side gates, garages), just sort it before we arrive.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or card once the job's done and you've seen the photos. Regular customers on spring/autumn schedules are invoiced per visit.
