Environmental & Disposal Policy

Reuse first

The most environmentally sound thing that can happen to a cleared item is a second life. Sound furniture, appliances and household goods are offered to local charity and reuse organisations before anything else happens to them.

Then recycling

What can't be reused is sorted: metal, timber, cardboard and green waste go to the appropriate recycling and processing streams. Electrical equipment is separated and handled through WEEE-aware routes rather than mixed into general waste.

Licensed disposal last

Residual waste goes to licensed local facilities with the paperwork to show for it. We do not fly-tip, we do not use unlicensed middlemen, and we can provide written confirmation of responsible disposal for solicitors, agents and landlords on request.

Vehicles and routing

Working a compact patch — Chichester to Brighton — keeps our mileage per job low, and we plan multi-job days to cut empty running. It's a small operation's version of doing the right thing: local jobs, sensible routes, full loads.
