Gutter Cleaning in Arundel, Steyning & the Downland Villages

The villages tucked into the Downs — Arundel, Steyning, Storrington, Findon, Bramber, Amberley — are the most careful work on our books, and some of our favourite. Older clay tiles wear lichen and moss like a habit, flint walls meet timber fascias, and half the high streets are conservation areas. Everything here gets the conservative method by default: hand tools, soft brushes, and absolutely nothing pressure-washed that predates the pressure washer.

Arundel's steep lanes and tall townhouses under the castle make access planning the first job — where the ladder feet actually stand matters on a hill. Steyning and Storrington are gentler: village houses under big trees, which means gutters that fill on a schedule and moss on every shaded slope. The A24 villages — Findon, Washington, Ashington — sit minutes from our base and get coastal-Worthing response times.

Older buildings get older-building honesty: cast-iron gutters are cleared gently and their condition reported with photos, lichen on handmade tiles is often best left partly alone (we'll say when), and anything structural we spot goes in the photo report for your builder rather than becoming an upsell on your doorstep.
