Gutter Cleaning in Haywards Heath

Haywards Heath is about 40 minutes north-east of Worthing — and gutters are what bring us most often. Roof cleaning, drains and pressure washing ride along on the same visit.

Haywards Heath is commuter-belt Sussex at its most tree-lined: Victorian and Edwardian streets around Muster Green and the town centre, solid 1930s semis along the Franklands Village side, and modern family estates at Bolnore — all of it under mid-Sussex woodland that donates generously to every gutter each autumn.

Period homes here reward care: original cast-iron gutters cleared gently and reported honestly, slate roofs that get soft treatment or sensible advice to leave well alone, and bay-window roofs — the classic blocked-outlet spot — checked as standard rather than discovered leaking in January. The 30s semis are our bread and butter: accessible eaves, concrete tiles just mossy enough, drives worth washing.

We work Haywards Heath, Lindfield and Cuckfield as one scheduled patch — the villages share the same trees and the same weather, and batching jobs keeps mid-Sussex prices in line with our coastal ones. Spring and autumn slots book first; standing twice-a-year customers never miss the window.

Questions people ask us

Which areas do you cover?

We're based in Worthing and work the coastal strip from Chichester to Brighton — Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Lancing, Sompting, Shoreham-by-Sea — and inland across West Sussex: Arundel, Steyning, Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead, plus the villages between.

How do quotes work?

Send a photo of the house or the problem plus your postcode, and you'll get a fixed written quote — usually the same day. The price doesn't change unless the job does. No obligation, and no doorstep pricing.

How do I know the work was actually done?

Every job ends with before-and-after photos sent to your phone. Most of what we clean is above your sightline — you should never have to take a ladder's word for it.

Are you insured?

Yes. Coast Is Clear is operated by CSQS Ltd, an established Worthing company, and insurance documentation is available with every quote.

What happens if it rains on my booking?

Light rain rarely stops gutter or drain work — sometimes it helps us flow-test. Wind is what cancels ladder work, and heavy rain makes roof and pressure washing pointless. If the forecast kills your slot we rebook early and you lose nothing.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not — most work is outside. We confirm everything in writing beforehand and the photos close the loop. If access needs unlocking (side gates, garages), just sort it before we arrive.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or card once the job's done and you've seen the photos. Regular customers on spring/autumn schedules are invoiced per visit.
