Gutter Cleaning in Burgess Hill

Burgess Hill is about 35 minutes north-east of Worthing — and gutters are what bring us most often. Roof cleaning, drains and pressure washing ride along on the same visit.

Burgess Hill is straightforward, satisfying work: a town that grew fast through the 60s, 70s and 80s, full of family homes with concrete-tile roofs at prime moss age, sensible eaves heights, and drives to stand a ladder on. A full house service — gutters cleared, downpipes tested, gullies flushed — is quicker here than almost anywhere on our route, and the pricing shows it.

The Northern Arc and the newer developments around the town's edges add the first-clean market: developer-fitted gutters that have never been touched, now five-plus years into leaf-fall from landscaping that's finally grown up. First cleans are cheap insurance — fascia rot from a permanently damp gutter is the most avoidable joinery bill in housing.

We schedule Burgess Hill with Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint and Ditchling on the same visit days — village work under the Downs alongside town work, batched to keep prices keen. For the Victorian pockets around the station and Silverdale, the older-building rules apply: gentler methods, honest photo reports, no doorstep upsells.

Questions people ask us

Which areas do you cover?

We're based in Worthing and work the coastal strip from Chichester to Brighton — Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Lancing, Sompting, Shoreham-by-Sea — and inland across West Sussex: Arundel, Steyning, Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead, plus the villages between.

How do quotes work?

Send a photo of the house or the problem plus your postcode, and you'll get a fixed written quote — usually the same day. The price doesn't change unless the job does. No obligation, and no doorstep pricing.

How do I know the work was actually done?

Every job ends with before-and-after photos sent to your phone. Most of what we clean is above your sightline — you should never have to take a ladder's word for it.

Are you insured?

Yes. Coast Is Clear is operated by CSQS Ltd, an established Worthing company, and insurance documentation is available with every quote.

What happens if it rains on my booking?

Light rain rarely stops gutter or drain work — sometimes it helps us flow-test. Wind is what cancels ladder work, and heavy rain makes roof and pressure washing pointless. If the forecast kills your slot we rebook early and you lose nothing.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not — most work is outside. We confirm everything in writing beforehand and the photos close the loop. If access needs unlocking (side gates, garages), just sort it before we arrive.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or card once the job's done and you've seen the photos. Regular customers on spring/autumn schedules are invoiced per visit.
