House Clearance in Worthing

Cleared properly, treated kindly.

House clearance is rarely just a practical job. Much of our clearance work in Worthing and across West Sussex follows a bereavement, a move into care, or a house sale under time pressure — so we work the way we'd want someone working in a family member's home: quietly, respectfully, and exactly to the brief.

We clear whole properties or single rooms, lofts, garages and sheds. You tell us what stays, what goes, and what needs setting aside — paperwork, photographs, anything the family wants found rather than lost. Anything with life left in it goes to reuse and local charity first; the rest is disposed of responsibly at licensed local facilities. You get a fixed written quote before we start and a broom-clean, ready-to-hand-over property when we finish.

For probate and estate clearances we work to solicitors' and estate agents' timescales, provide clearance confirmation in writing, and can photograph the cleared property for the file. For landlords and letting agents we run end-of-tenancy clearances across Worthing, Lancing and Littlehampton on short notice — usually within the week.

Questions people ask us

How does a house clearance quote work?

We look (in person or by video), you tell us what's staying, and we give a fixed written price for everything else — labour, loading and disposal included. Valuable items we find can be offset against the price and that's shown on the quote, not agreed in a doorway.

Can you handle a probate clearance before the house is sold?

Yes — it's a large part of what we do. We work to the solicitor's timescale, set aside documents and personal effects for the executor, and provide written confirmation of clearance for the file.

What happens to everything you take away?

Reuse first: furniture and household goods with life in them go to local charity and reuse organisations. The remainder is sorted and taken to licensed local facilities — not fly-tipped, which is why a paper trail matters when you choose a clearance firm.

Do I need to be there on the day?

No. Many clearances are done with keys from an agent or solicitor. We confirm the brief in writing beforehand and send photos when the property is cleared.

How quickly can you clear a house in Worthing?

Part clearances can usually be done within a few days; a full house is typically booked within one to two weeks. Tell us if there's a completion date — end-of-tenancy and sale deadlines are normal for us.
